What counts as a translated minute?

One translated minute is one minute of live call translation — time while a session is connected, from Connect to End, rounded up in 6-second increments. Both directions (hearing them and speaking to them) run inside the same session, so a 30-minute call uses 30 minutes, not 60.

Does text-only mode use fewer minutes?

No — text-only and voice translation are billed the same, by connected session time. Text-only simply skips the synthesized speech while captions keep streaming.

What happens when I use up my included minutes?

Start a higher plan when you need more included minutes. Additional-minute billing is not enabled yet.

Do unused minutes roll over?

No. Included minutes reset at the start of each monthly billing period.

Which payment methods are supported?

Payments are processed through Stripe — credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and region-specific methods where available.

How do I cancel or change plans?

Anytime, from the self-serve billing portal (Manage billing in the app or dashboard). Cancelling keeps your plan active until the end of the paid period.

Is my conversation audio stored?

No. Audio is translated in real time and never stored — it streams directly from your device to the translation model and never passes through Retalk's servers. Transcripts stay on your device, and billing only records session minutes.
